Personalizing discounts on select products for a generator retailer
The Challenge
Jackery used discounts extensively to drive sales, but found that blanket discounts would very quickly eat away at margin. They were looking to generate additional sales without discounting orders that would happen anyway.
Promi's Solution
Jackery used Promi to selectively offer discounts to price-sensitive customers. These discounts would show up to certain customers as an 'extra discount' on collections and product detail pages.
The Results
Jackery ran an A/B test comparing the Promi personalized discount to a flat discount. The Promi discount generated 15% higher revenue per visitor for an annualized revenue impact of +$3.8M. Promi was able to generate this extra revenue while only increasing average discount % per order by 0.15%.
